BRAD J. PORTER

Founding Principal / President

Brad Porter brings extensive real estate, land development and homebuilding experience to WestCal as founding principal and president.

Since 2011, Brad has guided WestCal through completion of numerous residential development projects totaling over 160 homes and units as of January 2020.

From 1997 to 2011, Brad served as Vice President and Principal at a private homebuilding company in Manhattan Beach, California . Brad oversaw companywide acquisitions, financial modeling, entitlements, and land-development for residential development projects. During his tenure he was integral in acquiring and entitling and project-managing over 1,900 lots/units for infill locations in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, and Santa Barbara Counties which resulted in unit gross sales in excess of $500 million --- with another estimated $200 million remaining to be sold.  

Brad began his real estate career at Northern Trust Bank in Los Angeles, California where he earned the Real Estate Officer title during his tenure. 

Brad holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California.  He is a California Licensed Real Estate Broker and California Licensed General Contractor.
